Overview
The Fast Lane RC Max Spinner is a genre-defying stunt car, about 10 inches long with four wheel drive and tank-style skid steering. When I took it out of the box, I initially thought it was broken because the entire sides, wheels & all, swivelled apart freely and independently! As you'll see in the video, this is a feature, not a defect, and how it works on the road is pretty surprising.
The Max Spinner comes with a rechargeable battery pack and a 4-hour wall charger, and it also has the needed 9V battery for the controller, so once you get the vehicle, you needn't buy anything else to get it running. The controller is young-kid-friendly with push buttons that always make something happen when you use them. Below a certain age (usually varying between 4 & 6) many kids have trouble coordinating traditional RC transmitters where the turning control, whether a stick or a wheel, doesn't make the vehicle move at all, and you have to simultaneously operate a movement control. This one here should be less frustrating for less-developed, less-patient young minds.

Conclusion
I enjoyed the Fast Lane RC Max Spinner and got a real kick out of how it works. It's fast enough to be exciting for a kid, and it's a very active vehicle to play with thanks to its many different modes of movement and little tricks. The only drawback is that the industry-standard (low) battery life prevents it from being an effective favorite toy for a fast-moving young driver.
